![]() I couldn't handle our Purple mattress any longer after being stuck in it for such an extended period of time, so I told my husband that we needed to get rid of it and finally get ourselves a Tempur-Pedic and (fortunately!) he agreed with me. A few months later, I realized that I couldn't STAND the Purple, yet I continued sleeping on it because (I think) we were outside of our trial period.įast-forward to the middle of last month when I had a cervical fusion surgery on my neck and I was all-but-bedridden for the first few weeks. At the time, it was better than what we HAD been using, but really, anything would have been better than the POS mattress we had immediately prior to our Purple. My husband and I got our queen-sized Purple3 mattress with an adjustable base in July of 2018 when I was 7-1/2 months pregnant. There are no handles to help with moving it, so if you need to move the bed make sure you have plenty of help. ![]() ![]() The bed weighs just over 200lbs and is extremely floppy. We justified the price by realizing that we spend 25%-30% of our lives on the bed. Firstly, as I just mentioned, my wife does not like how cold the bed gets. We have only a couple issues with the bed. We have let many friends/family try it out and about 50/50 love the feel and don’t care for it. The feel of the mattress is unique, and not for everyone. She loves the feel of the bed but doesn’t like the cool feel. The bed is cool to the touch when I first lay on it, and never heats up too much throughout the night although it does warm up after laying on it for a few minutes. We have made sure to rotate the bed every 6 months to help keep it from “breaking down” in any one spot. I can lay in the same position the entire night and not become sore, which is rare. The bed still feels firm where I want it, but very soft on my pressure points. It’s not uncomfortably soft, nor does it have any sag. The mattress has become noticeably softer over the years. I love it! Every single night when I lay down on my bed I think to myself “Ahhh…now this is comfort”. I have had my Purple hybrid premier 4” for just over 2.5 years now.
